Our immensely popular and reliable Evotec reel series continues its incredible evolution with a sleek, updated design and several upgraded features.

The G5 is the fifth generation member of the family, and a worthy successor to the much loved G4. Like its predecessor, it remains very much the workhorse among all fly reels.

This latest incarnation features a new brake knob system with thought-through design that will increase your control over the brake, even with cold fingers. We’ve also introduced a new spool cap – which provides much better grip for spool changes – and enhanced the overall strength of the frame

With the continued presence of the strong and seamlessly smooth Power Matrix drag system, the Evotec G5 truly excels in any fishing environment for a multitude of species, and is the reel to have attached to your rod when the fish of a lifetime hits your fly.
